Degradation of the interior air quality by micro-organisms

There are many areas where micro-organisms can multiply:

• There are the "visible" areas: e.g. a nurseries, offices, public venues and public transport, etc.
• And the "invisible" ones: e.g. air-conditioning ducts and air shafts, false ceilings, vehicle ventilation systems, upholstery fabrics, carpets, etc.

When left unchecked, the development of micro-organisms leads to increased concentrations of mould or bacterial spores and therefore a degradation in air quality.

"Contaminated" air is detrimental not only to industrial processes, but also to people:

• It could affect a technical process, for example in a production line (cheese-making, preparation of ready-cooked meals, micro-electronics, etc);
• It could equally be the cause of respiratory problems, often benign, but that could become chronic and lead to time off work.

To ensure the most effective form of conventional cleaning, it is necessary to finish off with a Hygiasept® diffuser containing Hygiaseptyl® Spray disinfectant.

The double action of Hygiasept® diffuser and product results in a dry micro-mist spray (under 5 µm) which saturates the atmosphere and covers all surfaces without ever wetting or staining.

The Hygiasept® concept works in two stages:

• by the sedimentation of particles, leading to the destruction of micro-organisms in the air that can be inhaled;
• by uniformly covering all surfaces, in particular surfaces that are inaccessible with traditional cleaning methods (air shafts, gables, ventilation shafts, airing systems, ceilings, walls, upholstery fabrics, carpets, etc.).

Such a procedure ensures the purification of the premises treated and removes a source of re-contamination by undesirable micro-organisms.

The whole range of Hygiasept® diffusers and Hygiaseptyl® Spray combinations comply with NF T 72-281 standards.
